| I am the 3rd owner. The car was originally green/white. It's first repaint by the 2nd owner in 1995. It still looks freshly painted. The engine was swapped out also in 1995 for another 318 but out of a 72 passenger car. I bought the truck in 2005 and rebuilt the 4-speed tranny (NP435) and put in a new clutch. I also put in a Mallory ignition, new tires, new radiator, new brakes. All new custom drive shafts with 1410 yokes. Dana 60 rear replaced. A Dana 60 front from an 80 with disc brakes. 3:55 gearing. Swapped out the tired 318LA for a 66 318 Poly (rebuilt by MoparNorm) with hydraulic lifters, 4bbl, etc. Custom true power steering. |
