Gas`

Post by MountainMoparRobin »

Here in Lakewood Co. it ranges between 1.51-1.68.
It appauls me that the gas companies jack their prices up like this!
Their is no shortage! and OPEC's cutting production is bull!
In the past boycotting Exxon Stations has helped to bring down the gas!
Simply don't buy Gas at Exxon! Email everyone and tell them not to buy gas their! They will have to lower the price to draw bussiness and once they do then the rest will follow suit! :?

About a buck seventy here, being a farmer, I would like to see more ethonal usage, most gas around here is a ten percent blend. Remember in November, Kerry wants a federal tax of fifty cents per gallon on gas! Make bio fuels like ethonal and biodiesel look a lot better, and cleaner. Anybody following clunker legislation? True, Bush comes from the oil industry, so he would probably like to see prices high also! Again, bio-fuels! My 66 Bonneville with a proper tune on the factory points ign and carter afb passed 92 emision standards by a long shot!this was back when I was in tech school, I was running an ethonal blend from MFA at the time.

The pressure is on from the enviromentalist to curb the use of gas guzzlers. Higher prices is one yay to achieve their goal. I agree with Red on the use of altered fuels. This will not only help the farmers and open new markets in the US but resolve some of the enviromental issues. Around here we are paying $1.63 to $1.70. I will stop buying gas at Exxon if it would help.

We buy our AG gas from MFA three hundred gallons at a time. its mid grade, 10% blend. Its a little more than a buck right now, shows what a difference taxes make!

i will buy gas at the prices you guy's south of the border are paying anytime here in saskatchewan canada we are paying 79.9 cent's a litre or $3.58 a gallon they say it is from all the competiton we have here from the dealer's it is amazing that when the price goes up at one station it seem's that within an hour or two they are all at the same price not real sure how that work's if the price of oil goes up per barrel it goes up at the pump's shortly after if the price per barrel goes down the price stay's up because they say that they still have the higher priced oil in the system so how come when the price per barrel goes up it is an almost immediate jump is the lower price oil still not in the system
