Does anyone sell the driveshaft for a short bed with an NP435? When we bought Isaacs truck, it had the automatic. When I got the parts truck, it had the NP435, but it was a long bed. Neither of the driveshafts would have worked. Im sure there was a factory option for a 318/NP435 to a chrysler 8-3/4". As most of you know, there is no slip yoke on the NP435. Ive searched for pictures, but havent found anything.
I think Ill call a local driveshaft shop and see, but Im afraid itll be expensive if I have to have one made.

Re: Driveshaft question
The slip yoke connects to the u-joint in the yoke on the back of the tranny.

Re: Driveshaft question
I did see a picture of something like that at Decade auto parts I think. It bolted to the u-joint and had splines on it. I assume it goes into the driveshaft after that. Does anybody sell one?

Like this? I guess I need one of these, and the slip yoke of the driveshaft will go into this.

Yes, although I did not know it was a forum member that owned that site. Do you also have the drive shaft for the short wheelbase truck? I need both.

Re: Driveshaft question
Have the np435 long box driveshaft shortened to the length you need. Check that the u joint fits your rear end first.
