Window crank handles different lengths
Window crank handles different lengths
I was going through my parts stash today and came across my window crank handles. I have two sets and they are about 3/4 inch different in from each other. Was that a model year change item? If so, when did the changeover occur. These look to be off a 66ish model.

Might be off an A-100. I don't know if the crew cab had shorter handles but, someone will chime in. Craig

I am not sure but I think mid 65 they went to the shorter one.

They shrink with age.

Lol, the short ones make it seem like the window goes down faster. less arm action required to open window. really just spinning a smaller circle
Re: Window crank handles different lengths
I bought a pair of NOS window cranks and yes, the earlier version was different than the later. I will have to go back and check but my 64 came with the early versions.dsd1967 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 25, 2018 7:29 pmI was going through my parts stash today and came across my window crank handles.
