LA 318 Motor Mounts...anyone have pics?
Does any one have any info/pics on this. I'm swapping my Slant Six for a 1987 318 w/727 trans. I see pics listed but they've been taken down by whoever hosted them. I need to know what will work off the Slant Six etc.... Also, I have a 1987 shortbed Ram that has power steering and I want to know if the steering box will fit on a '70 ? Thanks!

Just the rubber isolaters from between the frame mount and block mount will work for the 318.
Steering box from 87 will not work without major fabbing and fabrication.
My truck is younger than me.

Thanks dodgeboykin!

You might be able to see the right side engine mount bracket
in this pic. As Kim points out, the insulators from your Slant 6
can be used with the LA318.

Hobcobble, do you have any pics of the drivers side? I'm running into problems with the motor wanting to sit sideways. Anyone have any ideas? I know one is off from the other.

Is it bolted to block tabs/mounts correctly.
