And, please, please do NOT make a "Mystery Machine" clone from it!!! Between those, "A-Team" early '80s GMC vans, and the "Hardy Boys" Chevy, it's bad enough that every '68 and '69 Charger ever made is now a "Dukes" clone!

This will be a fun one to build.

We had a blast in that identical van in high school in the early 70's. It was easy to remove the side windows, which made an awesome mobile platform for water ballooning.

So it was you kids from Del Valle HS.....

Voyager/Caravan seats are a good fit in the back, if you were to put a seat(s) in it. I've got to get hold of the guy with the later-model Dodge van seats for the front.

Its great to see that you guys were able to put together a good deal!
The van looks excellent. I like your [initial ] idea of keeping it pretty
much original appearance-wise. When time and funds permit, throw a nice
dual exhaust on it. These vans seem to look better with a slightly wider
than stock tire on it too.... [hint hint... ].

Well, I was gonna make it a taildragger...

It's a twin to my other '68 D100, minus the lowering and that. I'm going to get the mechanicals sorted, shoot some Hot Rod Flatz black or gray on it, and probably let my youngest have it to drive, once he gets work! I've got some cool old chrome reverse 15" wheels for it that'll get some 1" whitewalls. The truck interior is good, judging from the pics, so that is one concern less to worry about.

The van has a great body, considering that nearly all A100/108 vans I've seen in the past five years or so have had BIG rust issues. The rockers on this are in great condition, as are the doglegs and cargo floor. The cab floor has a little bit of pinhole rust and a couple of spots that will need metal, but not very big at all. No seats, though, but I do have a pair of later-model Dodge van high-backs that I'm trying to line up for it.

The seats really don't bug me not being in it......As long as the dash and wiring and steering wheel is all there, I am probably gonna change the entire interior anyways so no big deal if you cant get the seats.....one less headache for ya

Well my brother and I are gonna be packin my 68 D100 and heading for the trade in Oklahoma City for my "new" van this weekend. I cant wait, I am getting excited It's gonna be nice to actually meet another forum member in person also and shoot the breeze a little

The wheels/tires on the van now are going to go on the D100 he's bringing to me, and he is keeping his wheels/tires. I'll have to reattach the fender that he took off the pickup, but that's no big deal. Looking forward to the swap!
