Re: ICON at SEMA
Get rid of the goofy "ICON" lettering and replace that with DODGE or FARGO.
New-style instrument cluster, with the original radio??? It's a confused look all around. Part tech-y, part original-looking, part resto-mod. It IS nice, but not $139K nice. It needs to follow one theme and not three or four different themes.

you guys are just drunk... That truck is winning on many levels. excellent paint scheme, bulletproof power train, with a personalized touch that gives it character and set it apart from not just any 60's d200 but just about any 60's 4x4...

Re: ICON at SEMA
It's trying to be four different things at one time. Follow ONE theme and stick with it. Any of the four would be nice, but at $139K, it's too much for what is a "Schizophrenic" build.
If thinking that makes me "drunk", I can live with that.

I'd love to be in touch with the hood letter manufacturer and get some DODGE and FARGO letters made......

Ours were done by scanning the original DODGE letters to establish scale and font, then we built them in CAD and CNC'ed in stainless. We could do what you want. I will look into the cost of what we did as a reference point and get back to you. Can be quite expensive, which is why you rarely see it done.

Close.
I just heard $150 each. WOWzer!
He said alot of it is in the art development. Aluminum would be slightly cheaper.
Out of range for most of us but cool that he got back to me.

That turned out great! I know there is a lot of purist arguing on this one but it's still a great build. I saw this on TV a while back and wondered when it would be finished.
