Crown Vic front suspension Anyone done it?

Post by DINODE »

I'm thinking that this might be a good winter project for me. Has anyone done this on a Sweptline? I have read all the F100 build threads and it looks pretty straight forward. Perhaps some one could share some insight and/or pictures? I looking for a few answers on the following:

1) Can I use my original frame/motor mounts for my slant 6?
2) How much do I have to notch the frame? ( this part makes me nervous!)
3) How do I hook up the Rack and pinion to my stock column? and what type of p/s pump can I hook up to the 6?
4) What master cylinder do I use?
5) any other pitfalls to look out for?

thanks!

I think its kind of like sticking the similar sides of 2 batteries together........ the Dodge just won't let the "off brand" parts get close..... :joker
