It should go without saying that I am tired of this. So, I've got a couple of torque straps for a B-body from Schumacher Creative Services that I am going to install. I am going to do one on the driver side front (intended location) and one at the rear of the engine on the passenger side (hopefully to act as a mid-plate). I'm going to have to get creative to get the driver side front one in, but the rear doesn't seem too bad.
I'm also looking at getting some locking engine mounts. Neither Schumacher nor MIty Mounts carries a locking engine mount for our trucks. I finally contacted Johnny at Poly Bushings who does a lot of work with the 2.2/2.5L turbo Mopars. Luckily, he also works with a few other things.
He has a /6 mount that is thicker than the truck mount but that is a locking mount and has the studs in all the right sizes and all the right places (Indian made truck unit on the right and USA Poly Bushings locking mount on the left):

Thoughts? Will the extra height raise the engine too much?
