Post by countrycorby »

.....One cold morning headed to work I reached over and pushed the button in that said "Defrost" and I heard a "Snap" :pale ..... Not good, now I have no control over where the air goes .... Are replacement controls hard to find ..... probably a dumb Question cause I haven't seen any but , I thought I would ask ..
Thanks for any help . - Mike

http://www.megapartsusa.com/proddetail. ... =MP-PBS790 This will fix you right up. Be careful with the new one, the electrical switch is delicate.

I looked it up for a '70 Dart on RockAuto.com and it looks like they have them.

Your title states that it is a 71. There isn't going to be a difference between a D100, D200, D300, W100, W200 or W300. I think you included enough info. I'm guessing the controls others mentioned are the same as the one you need. :study

Thanks soopernaut that's great to know. I was referring to nuthinbutmopars response about a '70 Dart. I thought maybe I was misunderstood. Thanks again, this is a great forum !!

I'm guessing a 70 Dart uses the same part. I can't tell you for sure though.
