rebuilds them. Maybe he'd have a parts kit for
you?

isn't that a pretty tough job unless you know the tricks and have the correct pullers, etc? Might be better to buy a rebuilt one (maybe I think that because I tried a few times and failed).

oh, the adjustment nut can take the slack out but the worm gear is usually worn in the middle so if you make that good it can bind while the wheels are turned and it will not straighten out...at least I believe that is the case, but I have never been able to open one.
