$1000 project 1970 d100
Just got this truck and getti g ready to start dropping money into it I bought it for $1000 its got a rebuilt 318 in it, theinterior $$WIRING$$ is a night mare, but ill eventually get it all fixed up, maybe ill get a diff wiring harness, and the rims are for sure going...idk much about old vehicles or v8 but it's going to be a great project, and learning experience

Your 70 has an earlier model hood on it, but I actually think that scoop looks real good on it.
Diggin the sidepipes aslo. Looks like a nice starting point.

Yeah i agree ... great starting point and love the old skool look with the side pipes !!

I am kinda diggin' that scoop and the pipes as well. The scoop looks to be an old Trans Am scoop turned backwards. I can't tell, but, are there louvers in the hood, or did someone smooth them out? It is an older hood.

Not bad at all there. A set of Cragars or kidney beans and call it done. Throw in an aftermarket wiring harness, maybe drop the back end a couple inches (or not, run 14 or 15 front with a 15 or 16 rear).
What you get for the lowrider rims that are on it should buy harness and a decent set of used wheels. And lunch.
I wouldn't even color coat it.
By the lack of grille to hood gapping I'd bet that is a 68 hood...

I never thought I'd like side pipes, or lake pipes, but every swepty ive seen them on, I liked. Where would you find those for sale now days ?
