67fargo in Alberta,Canada
Howdy everyone!!
Proud second owner of a Arctic Blue 1967 Fargo D100.Just recently got it running and now I'm pumped. It has the leaning tower of power with 50000miles, but who knows how many hours running.Spent it's whole life on a farm in Sask.Purchased it of my ex'es dad for a dollar, who had bought it new in 67 for $2300.It's plain Jane with not even a radio but it did come with the optional 16' rims and thats it.Truck still has original spare tire bolted to front of box.I do have plans for this truck which will probably include hiperf parts for the 225,repairing or replacing rockerpanels and fresh paint and other small odds and ends.Just put new windshield in and new brakes all around.
What I really need is a 'Fargo' tailgate thats in decent shape and I hope thats not wishfull thinking.
Father inlaw used to haul cows etc and the tailgate is bowed, but still closes.I'm willing to pay a decent dollar for the right one.
Happy trails!!!!!

Welcome! It is nice to see another Albertan on here.
I am building a '67 Dodge short bed, also with a slant six.
Good luck with finding a tailgate. You could find a Dodge tailgate and replace the stamped Dodge panel with the one from your Fargo, if it is in decent shape.

I'm thinking that a Sweptline'Fargo' tour or cruise should be in order one day.Cant find any clubs around though. From looking at your prof pic, your truck is the same as mine.Right on!! Thinking of going flat black though, just until I can afford the real deal paintjob.Truck has alot of scratches.Cheers!

Here is an in progress shot of my '67. I really like the flat black look too, and have been painting my truck in Rustoleum flat as the build progresses.67fargo wrote:I'm thinking that a Sweptline'Fargo' tour or cruise should be in order one day.Cant find any clubs around though. From looking at your prof pic, your truck is the same as mine.Right on!! My truck has dents and scratches too, that I will sort out once it is running and sorted out mechanically.
jwing68 is another member here who isn't far from me in Raymond. He has some really cool W-200 and 300 trucks.
I'm all for a cruise or whatever else is in order to meet you guys.
