I won't deny that I'm uber jealous... I really like that truck. :)

May I ask what you have planned for it? If anything right now...?

Hello All,

Well the time has come for the countdown. I have been waiting for this truck since July. Due to the shipping company being utterly useless I was unable to get the truck last time I was home. Well right after I left to come back to work, the truck got to my house. Well I am set to get home in Seven, count em....Seven days and I will finally be able to get in the truck and drive it, man I cannot wait.

Seven.....Six.....Five.....Four.....Three.....

I found this picture of your truck on bing.com then you put in Dodge sweptline truck then go to Images of dodge sweptline trucks. The second time I went there I had to click on one of the trucks with a LINE-X add in order to pull up your truck. Lots of good looking trucks on there if anyone wants to look.

Good buy 1964 D200 hope you give her a good home.

All,

Finally got to drive the truck...GREAT TRUCK. I was mis-informed about the amount of rust, but that is to be expected. THe 318 runs like a dream, the tranny is a little hard to get into second coming down from third. The door latches newed some work as I have to pull up on the door a little to get them to open.

As for the lift, there are no blocks on the Front as I was lewd to believe there was, it looks like it in the pictures but it is just the way the photo was taken. The back has some huge blocks but I am fine with them for now.

The truck already has the power steering installed, pretty nice install. Only bad thing is the angle of the streering column brings the clomun very close to the frame, but another thing that I can live with for now.

I will post some pics as soon as I can, just spent the weekend with my son at his foirst Boy Scout Jamborree...THat was crazy...over 12000 scouts there.

Later all
Ed

Oh Yeah...the Wife has named the truck "Big Daddy"..so there you go

The door latches were the same on my truck too. Had to lift up on the door, open it, then lift up on it to close it. The driver door especially. Only, I had to take a flathead and turn the gear that kept the door shut, otherwise if I tried to turn right, the door would fly open while I was driving... That sucked one morning going to work... :pale

But yours is in pretty good condition, and I'm sure you'll have lots of fun fixin' it up the way you want it. :Thumbsup Good luck!
