Contrary to what some may hold as popular belief, it was started over 10 yrs ago by Kris Wickstead. About 5 or so yrs ago Kris's site was archived and scott took over ownership, administration and expansion.
So, gratitude for founding would properly go to Kris. Gratitute could also be directed to those who who have carried on his creation, such as scott.

What ever happened to Kris? Anyone ever hear form him?
Back in the 90's I only had one swept, then I learned so much and now I have like 20 swepts.
I still remember the day I went on the internet for the first time ever and I typed in 61-71 dodge trucks in a search engine and up popped that site, I about fell out of my chair. My buddy then typed in 69 chevy truck and found nothing like it, lol! Thats what I really like about these trucks, we all help each other, and this site really helps that.

Wasn't the forums also archived where you could go back and read through some of them? I sure would like to read some of my posts when I got my truck. My first Sweptline post was about "what to look for". I sure know now!

He posted on here a few times about a year ago. He was putting a 5.7 Hemi in his Sweptline. I wasn't ever on his site when it was active because I never used the internet until 2004.
