How old is this Jeepers Creeper?

Post by ratrodguy »

THIS IS NOT FOR SALE. I inherited it from my grandfather when he passed away. I loved rolling around on it in his garage when i was little. I'm just curious if anyone has any idea on how old it is.

I'm not sure how old that one is but I have a Craftsman creeper that is exactly like it that I bought in the early seventies. Mine doesn't have Lisle on the rollers but I would say it was made by the same manufacturer due to the similarity.

I remember my dad having one when i was little. where talking late '60's early '70's. that's a really cool peice. I'd try to make a piece of wall art out of it. so it doesn't get destroyed in the shop.

You could modify it a bit...

I bought one at a yard sale like the top one for $3. Huffy makes it I think. It has a picture of a California highway with what I swear is a Sweptline (wierd blurry screen printed rendering)

I think my dad still has one like that. It is at least as old as I am!
