Award winning $500 D200

Post by ratrodguy »

Back on June/27/09 my $500 1970 D200 won an award for "best petina" at the "Cruise to the Park" car show in Auburn Washington. I never expected to get an award for my "beater" truck!
I hear that "down south" the sweptline trucks are popular, but up here around Seattle they are very hard to come by. I even went to an all mopar show in graham, and there was only i other sweptline (a purple D100) (i might have a pic of it still somewhere...).

Congrats on your award :Thumbsup See the high dollar vehicles arent the only winners . I find myself walking right past the show cars more and more and stopping at the drivers , plus owners are always nice people .

I took my truck to the largest car show in Alabama a couple of weeks ago and out of 800 to 1000 vehicles there, I had the only Sweptline.

Congrats on the award!!!

You must not have made the 09 Sunbust. Here are the swepties that were there this last August. I never did get around to posting them. I have more shots of most of them.

Umm, i was there. That tan 70' D200 with the for sale sign is my truck. (It is no longer for sale... I'm pleading temporary insanity lol).
Ya, i forgot about the green 4x4 and, ya that was a nice truck! (think he will trade...? lol). That D100 was wicked too. Ow and that guy with the D300 is the one who bought the 3 hole mirrors off my truck.

yeah, me too! that was the pic that caught my eye, it looks like an old bulldog with big jowls. not a big fan of those beds though but i am not sure why, i do like the normal ute's. those big fat front fenders are really something.
