my 74 w200 came factory equipped with locking hubs and drums. the last time i had to replace one (early 90's) it was quite an adventure(r) finding one.So you had to swap to disc brakes? In 73, they were standard, and never again had drums up front, AFAIK.

Or another idea would be to get some black conveyor belt material and use it to make the old-school looking front air dam and side skirts.

The color is awesome.
And touch-up paint will be relatively easy to find for a while since it's a modern color.

no it did not have shoulder belts....i think it had only lap belts when we got it.....we did however put in safety belts from a lincoln MKIV, which include a lap, and shoulder belt combo, and can be worn with or without the shoulder belt attatched..its a pain in the arse, but a VERY worthwhile safety upgrade....soopernaut wrote:Does it have shoulder belts? All trucks manufactured after 1/1/72 were required to have them and since your truck was built before that it wasn't required to have them. Not many Lifestyle era trucks came without them.
