Scary, I had to put on the winter wheels and tires! I'd love to buy some mid 90's factory Dodge wheels (Chrome style) to put the tires on. 235x57x16's Mud Terrains. I've never used these in the ice, I may have to have them siped.
I prefer the big tire stance and drive feel but as everyone knows they arne't safe in the ice and snow.
The Summer wheels & tires are 33x12.5x16.5s BFG All Terrains. They fill the wheel wells pretty good as well as adding a great stance.

Yea,siping those tires is a good idea. When I-90 is icy it scares the crap out of me!

Jimmy, sure a nice looking truck to be taking out on salted roads. If they salt your roads.
At least take off the Ferd hub caps LoL and paint the wheels black.

At least he found some hubcaps, on mine the nuts are showing. I'm debating Ford hubcaps since I can't find any 8 lug Dodge hubcaps. I'd even settle for Chevy caps if I could just find some.

Re: Fright Night Express!

Depending on where you bought them,, MOST places WON'T sipe them after they have been on the road.
The local Schwabb's won't.

Re: Fright Night Express!
Thanks Guys,
MikeMc, The northwest uses alot of Sand and Deicer. The deicer is pretty bad, you just have to wash you rig about once every week or so and pressure wash the bottom side. I under coated everything well, so hopefully I won't have any problems.
I thought about painting the wheels, but they have at least two coats of paint on them now.
The paint is chipping. So with out a hole bunch of time and work the F*rd knock off hub caps will work. I had them left over from a F350 that I sold. The hub caps came from Spaulding Auto Wrecking. They are actully after market, look a likes. I figure they go good with my F*rd power steering box.
I'm a big sipping fan,
For those who arn't familure with siping, its very populer for cars, trucks, and big rigs(at least in the Northwest). Siping is great for quiting tires, allows tires to run cooler wich equals longer life and give outstanding tracktion on slippery roads includding ice. Off roaders/Loggers usually don't care for siping because they spend so much time in ruff roads and rocks, there tires will chunck out. (Pieces of the tire Break off) I've never had any of mine do this. Your correct that Les snabs won't sipe after you run tires, but other shops around will. The main reason they won't sipe a driven tire is because most tire have a little factory siping and little rocks get stuck in them. The little rock mess up the blade on the machine. These BFG's don't have any siping from the factory.
Thanks again for the great comments!

Re: Fright Night Express!
I live in Alberta Canada, our winters here are pretty crazy. My 66 kept me on the roads even with bad tires. When i put good winter tires on it, I was the only guy on the road with traction!
