Sweptliner Stopped By Today

The young Sweptliner (John) stopped by today. We chatted for a little bit then I let him practice his shifting skills while driving the Mc Mobile. After getting the hang of shifting a close ratio tranny without the clutch he did pretty good.

Also had a chance to check out his nice '70 100. It's a pretty stait truck, he did a good job on it

Mc Mobile Is a very well built truck and is smooth is every aspect (throttle response, brakes, steering and sound). It is MASSIVE! just look at the picture. There is a lot of shifting involved, kinda makes your arm hurt thinking about it .

parkin' it next to a stock D-100 really puts just how big it is into view!! WOW both trucks look great!

Hey, I saw your truck pulling a chev truck on a trailer in Pismo Beach today.. You were under the hood when I drove by. Just happened to notice after I had passed. Would have stopped but was on my way to dinner with a group. Nice looking truck in person. what are you doing with a chev?lol..

65, this is why I took the other pick up LoL.

Just down the street from were you saw me inspecting the truck while she was shopping.... I got a little jumpy on the the clutch and twisted it off. This load weights 24K and I want to haul my D4 that would add 7,500 more pounds .

Attached is a pic leaving and a pic returning. When we got into the GMC we both said ahhhwww this truck rides good . But other than that my homemade truck did pretty good

I see your problem there.. Lots of torque to break that off... Would have liked to have stopped anyways just to say hi. When I go to Bakersfield, I will try to hook up with you while Im there..maybe we could go to Tahoe Joe's or something...

That's a sweet truck. You should try to go up to the Hollister Power Wagon Rally next year some time (date not set yet).
