Is the gas cap and filler tube rubber the same on a '67 and '68?

1968 seems like an odd year sharing the LA318 of the 69-71, but not some of the other major changes. But yeah,
why would they bother to change a hole? The cap on ebay is chrome, so probably for 2WD deluxe models.

i bought a cap for my 67 at advance auto parts for 6 bucks.it fits perfect.they did have to order it but it was listed and its chrome!

In the old days people were always leaving the cap on the pump and driving away. Then you just stopped into the nearest station
and asked "Hey did you guys find the cap I left?" There was almost always one that fit in the lost box. If not we just put a fuse, I mean
rag in the hole.

Remember the behind-the-plate fillers? Pretty obvious which ones had no cap.

Did it have a sticker on it? i remember the one i got for my 72 had a giant warning sticker. I never could get all of it off. :banghead

yes it does have a sticker on it...and no we cant get it off.
