some nice iron there! keep us posted on the Altered Wheel Base car! that looks like a fun project.
i'll go 1st, car projects, my truck as we all know. i've got a 62 Rambler Wagon, trying to get it ready to sell. but my big project is my house. i've got it tore apart from one end to the other, but it'll be nice when its done.

My '56 Plymouth wagon is back from paint and body!!! It's getting a 440 and auto. Should be on the road sometime this Summer.
My son's '68 A100 van runs now! It had a collapsed fuel line. It hasn't been on the road in a few years, and it needs a bit before it's streetable.

This is not mine, but it's what I'm working on at the moment. I'm doing the interior in this 55 chebby. That's a 502 engine, and those billet hood hinges cost about $800 !!!( I'm never gonna get over that !) I'll post some more pics when I finish the job.And I'll use a real camera instead of my cell pone.

After this 71 Ranchero, it's on to the Swepty. I want to start the Dodge soooo bad but I already had 95 percent of the parts for the engine as well as all new rubber parts and interior for the Ford. Here is a video link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgmx6GJ_8AI

That was ten years ago when it still ran.

Patrick, post up some pics of the 56 Plymouth. I love those cars. We had a new 55 four-door Plymouth and I had a 56 Plymouth convertible back a few years ago.66patrick wrote:My '56 Plymouth wagon is back from paint and body!!! It's getting a 440 and auto. Should be on the road sometime this Summer.

Re: Beside Your Swepyline What Else You Working On?
73 Challenger and Fury. Not much to do to the Fury. I just put a edelbrock intake and 4bbl on it and I'm going to lower it and put some 20's and 22's that I bought for the truck.
The Challenger needs a full resto. I'm putting new quarters, trunk extensions and outer wheelhouses on it. Its a 318 car, but I'm taking that out and putting it in the truck and putting a monster 440 in the Challenger.

Re: Beside Your Swepyline What Else You Working On?
You are correct! Very few mopar people have only one.
I also have a 69 charger and a 78 D150(was supposed to be a frame donor for the swepty but it's just a little too nice).

Tubbed71 the caption in your next to the top pic says "Green Valley Raceway April 17". My dad mentioned going to a Green Valley dragstrip in north Tx. back in the 60's. Wonder if its the same place?

Love the old A/FX car!
No iron projects for me right now. But there might be an Ironman project in my future.

Re: Beside Your Swepyline What Else You Working On?
I am starting to get the ball rolling on the restoration of my 76 D200. My plans are to change out the worn out 318 for a better running engine, rebuild the 435 trans, and paint the truck with the color scheme of a California state parks truck from the mid 70's I still need to contact the parks HQ in Sacramento to see if they will let me reproduce the 1970's door logos. Here is what the truck looks like now.

Here is an idea of what it will look like when done.

Los Banos Person
Some times it is better to ask for "forgive-ness" than permission. Other words have a sign place make the logo on the flexible magnet stuff and only put it on the truck at the moment that you are using it for show.
Your license plates will show that you are not a Gov't Vehicle.
There is a National Club for ex-vehicles such as your's. It is mostly attened by ex-cop cars, fire and etc. If one knew your name and email they could give you the link.
