D200 in terrain

Post by Jonte »

Me and my friend Martin with his Cherokee took a spin out in the backwoods the other day. I must say that the D200 has good terrain skills even if it´s 2wd. Has the Dana 60 rear axle some sort of limited slip dif?

The only thing that stopped me was a steep hill with wet grass and mud, where the truck spun and got stuck halfway up. I can only imagine what a w-series feels like...

Im sure that was a fun day, when I take my w out on the trails, I have to keep it in 2 wheel drive, as no one else can get to where I can in 4 wheel, so if I get stuck, I need a tractor to get me out, and by looking at your buddies ride, if you would need his assistance, it wouldnt be much help. I would say a limited slip two wheel drive is just as capable as the jeep is. LOL
Those fenders look real nice on your truck

Thank´s guys! And it was really fun. The only thing he beat me at was the muddy hill, guess mine has to much weight on the front with the V8.

A couple of more pic´s:
