15x6 or 15x6.5

Post by hobo »

I recently bought some 15" wheels for my truck from a guy, and didn't notice until much later that one of the wheel is slightly wider than the others. Three of them are 6" wide, while the fourth is 6.5" wide. Otherwise, they are identical wheels that are claimed to have come off a Dodge truck. Will this cause the truck to track funny, or will it probably be OK?

I wouldnt have 3 wheels of one size width and 1 wheel of another width...I'm not sure what the driving effect would be but I just wouldnt do it.

Came across this myself when I went to buy another rim. I eventually went with the 6.5, and would recommend staying the same size all around as suggested.
