My friends, I am now Houston area Sweptliner. I left Wichita and Winfield KS in my rear view mirror at 0400 Saturday morning. I arrived at my home in Houston Sat afternoon appx 1500. Frankentruck seemed to bear the burden of being towed by a ford fairly well since it was a pleasant ride on a trailer for relocation purposes and not for breakdown.
Hey WELCOME to Texas!! You'll fit in just fine, you have a ton of Sweptline company down in the Houston area. I'm just up 45 if you feel like a coming up to Dallas for a visit!
thats cool as hell. next time im down we will have to get together. what part of the city are you around?? my family lives around clear lake and league city, 30 miles to the south of houston.
Thanks for the welcome guys! Yeah, I knew there were quite a few Texas Sweptliners, and several in this area.
What brought me here? :D A sweet lil Aggie ;) MmmmmmMMMMM!
I'm on the Northwest side, Just South of 290 on hwy 6.
Yes, I'm glad it went smooth and safe. Was a little worried about towing the ol' beast on a uhaul car transport - but although the van and trailer rental was GAH expensive - it was a flawless trip.
LOL I'm no stranger to the South coast. I grew up in New Iberia / Loreauville LA, so... yeah, I know what you mean about anyone N of I-10 LOL Kansas was good, but it's time to come home.
I have a brother that lives in Baytown, just outside of Houston....and a Yankee is anyone north of the Mason/Dixie line...A damn yankee is one that comes and visits then goes back north...and a God damn yankee is one that comes and stays ...............pat
