VIN
VIN
The only place i´ve found the VIN is on a plate on the glovebox lid. But at the last anual MOT the inspection guy wasn´t satisfied with that and wanted to know if it was stamped somwhere else (like on the fram etc). Can it be found anywhere else on our trucks?

It should be on a plate on the pillar behind the driver's door. It should also be on the passenger side front frame rail. It would be on the side of the frame somewhere between the axle and front bumper.

I don't know if it is the same on all the old sweptlines, but the VIN on my husband's 70 D100 is stamped on the driver side doorway near the seat. Have you looked there yet?
