Old dart help?

Post by powertothepdub »

So my son bought a reasonably solid 64 dart to restore as his senior project.Does anyone know of a website that supports these old darts as well as this one supports our trucks?

Not 100% what you're after, but the fellows over at slantsix.org are very knowledgeable and friendly. They discuss not only the engine, but also cars they came in...

Try Layson's Restorations. One of the most hated names in mopar resto parts, but they specialize in early a-body stuff. Most weather stripping is still available through normal retail sources (try goatfarm.com) Legendary has your upholstery. Sheet metal patches are out there if you need them. You can visit Layson's on-line or their tent at the major mopar shows. Google them to get their toll-free, but if you call, be sure to only deal with Rick. I used to be the warehouse manager there. Rick is a stand-up guy and will do his best for you. Ask him for the catalog. Many parts are still available at napa and rock auto. First thing on your list should be to get rid of the old single stage master cylinder (unsafe in a pressure failure). Best of luck on the project. Contact me if you need any more info.
