I will look when I get the original bed off the ground how it attached at the rear. You would think it would need some kind of frame extension between the truck frame and bumper.

Yeah. The back of the bed would bend if you put something heavy in it without any kind of support.

It's been pouring rain all week where the Fargo is parked, so it may be a little while before I get back in there to find out.
