Just acquired a ‘68 and while making a short run near home get a sudden bump bump bump coming from what seems to be left front wheel. I pull over thinking I’ve got a flat. Not the case so I pull back onto the road and it rapidly intensifies, definitely speed-related (not motor).
I don’t see anything obvious yet but thought I’d ask the board while I’m waiting on a tow.
I’ll crawl under for closer inspection when I get it home.

Re: New guy looking for help
Yesterday’s lesson was don’t take the little things for granted. The lug nuts were loose, and I hadn’t checked them when the truck was delivered.. guess some work had been done at the last minute and not properly tightened.
After tightening, all good.
Eventual plans are to drop a Crown Vic front end in, so not really wanting to spend a lot of resources on the current setup.
