Battery tray colour

We’re the battery trays in 1970 trucks painted body colour, or black out of the factory?

The two trucks I own 1966 and 1970 both have a black finish (factory) to the battery tray. I am pretty sure they are stock.

My truck and also the two parts trucks I had were all too rusty to know what color they were.

My '71 is body color.

I have trucks in my yard and all have black battery trays. 66/67/68/70 and a number of loose battery trays.

I had a 71 W200 Fargo Power Wagon that also had black tray. I have never seen a body colour one.

My 70 Dodge d200 has a black tray and a black liner also that appears to be factory ?

Yes the black rubber type tray sitting under battery is an original part. Most times they are long gone.
