Past and present sweptlines
I don't usually share many photos on here anymore as it's such a pain to resize and post them but I thought I'd gather some of the group pictures I've taken and share some of my past and present sweptlines. The school bus, W500 crew cab and lowered D100 are my keepers.

Wow! That's some collection you've had over the years. I think it's cool you are keeping the school bus. I mean... you never see those! Thanks for sharing!

I absolutely LOVE your lowered D100. Something nice about old steel sitting in the weeds :)

Thanks. I've been quite busy buying and selling these trucks for the last several years. I seem to have just as much fun chasing them as I do driving them. Drove the red D100 from west Texas to Pike's Peak and the Sweptline cruise a couple of years ago. That was a fun trip.

Re: Past and present sweptlines
Thanks. I had looked passively for a nice quad headlight bus for years, never thinking I'd find one in good shape for a reasonable price. I had this one shipped from Idaho to west Texas. Very little rust and all of the curved glass is good. It will get a frame swap to a modern drivetrain so I can take the family on trips in it. I haven't seen another 1965 Dodge S400 Wayne body short bus. You can find other similar variants but the early art deco bodies are tough to find on dodge chassis.

Re: Past and present sweptlines
Thanks. It's a blast to drive. It's a bit blasphemous but it doesn't bother me. It's sitting on an entire 2011 crown vic police interceptor chassis and drivetrain. My buddy and I drove it all the way from Texas to Pike's Peak a couple years ago when we went to a sweptline cruise. 1500 mile round trip with no issues.

Nice! Do you have any more photos of the yellow one with the Utiline dually bed?

Re: Past and present sweptlines
I don't have any more that are compressed enough to post here. If you're on Facebook I can send some there. A lot easier. And as PwrWgnDrvr said it was for sale but has since sold.

Re: Past and present sweptlines
Here are more pics of the yellow one. Super solid California black plate truck. No rust through at all. Just dents and dings. Was a Caterpillar service truck.

Thanks for the additional photos!
It is not in my budget right now, but I really want one of those beds for my D300 someday.
