I'm not a facebook user so maybe my thoughts on this aren't correct. Since this group is not really exclusive or containing private information, why does it require a password or account to join? I know some facebook pages are set up for public use and have no password or login requirements.

Many groups that are managed are what they call " closed groups". They are visible by the public but require admin approval to join. Just like this site. The facebook page i created is the same.

\You still need a Facebook account to join in on Facebook groups. Many people have very little( If anything at all) to see on their page and also don't use their real name. Don't be scared. It also opens up a new world along with a certain amount of BS and Fake news.

I rarely use facebook, but if I'm going to join a group, it ought to be this one. Joined and pending.

Thank you guys. I'm trying to hang in there. Been a long road so far....

I'll be attempting the forum update soon. If the forum is down, i suggest getting on he facebook page until i get it sorted out. It's a big update.
