Gasket set interchange number?

Post by Abloch »

According to my information I need the FS8553PT-12 Fel-Pro gasket set for my 1968 2bbl 318. This part seems to be unobtainable and I was wondering if anyone has a new part number so I can get my engine put back together.

Thanks, Andrew

All LA Series gaskets sets will work for any 67 to 86 LA motor(and probably the 273 too). They generally have any variation of gaskets to fit all versions in kit for those years. That's my experience when you get a full gasket kit.

The exception to "all will fit" is the 360 pan seal gaskets. The 360 IS different there, and the pans and gaskets do NOT interchange with the other LA-family engines.
