BTW - Do you think the angled arm will be enough to do the trick? I suppose my concern is with different tire sizes and such.
Hello Swewptliners,
Release date should be before the end of the year but with SEMA coming up, it has slowed down operations here a bit.
As for the pitman arm, if you look at Roberts post, the tire only rubs down near the drag link not up at the pitman arm. keep in mind also that the steering box will now allow you to turn further that with factory power steering and very similar to the factory manual. If your tires rubbed anything before, they will hit more-so now.

Can we get a price and maybe start a pre-order list?

You guys better get working if you are going to keep the release date before the end of the year. I am starting to think that this isn't going to happen, well at least any time soon!!

Hi everyone , new to this forum and a new owner of a 1970 Sweptline (none power steering). I've been reading a lot of posts about this power steering box from CPP, so i made a visit to them to see how it was going. Had a good visit with Frank and they have slowed down on it, but i'm going to work on getting something done with the CPP box. It just looks like the best way to keep it looking stock with a minimal amount of fab.
as I say "everthing could be anything but nothin is always somethin"

I hear you, if it was a Chevy or ford it would have been ready by now!
Exactly there are no swepti parts not develped by us. there has been almost no interest on this thread to have it developed so why would they. In any case this is by far the easiest box to adapt in. Much. Easier and much safer than any transplant. Read the thread. For instuctions. i wrote this on a pos tablet so forget the grammar.

No interest? Probably the most desired upgrade for a sweptline. I thought this thread had quite a lot of interest?
i can appreciate instant gratification but these sort of things don't happen over night.
all our trucks have been steering around ok for for nearly 50 years without it. what's another few months of patience and support for another quality vendor of parts for our trucks?

Sorry I used a poor choice of words and my ancient tablet. I do that sometimes.
What I meant if people were beating down CPPs door with commitments and credit card numbers to order it would be faster. I didn't take a count but there was only a handful on here that said they would order which translates into a much smaller number of actual orders.
If you can not wait do not go Chevy, Ford or Toyota get one of these and do it like this thread. Its super easy to install on your own and works great. If there is any complaint it steers to easy but that can be remedied by a pressure regulator if you need it.
