1970 W series Power Wagon badge location
On my 1970 W300 and other 1970's I have seen, the Power Wagon badge is ABOVE the Dodge 300 badge.
Was it different on other years? I have seen some where the PW badge is BELOW the Dodge 300 badge.
[Unfortunately I am missing both PW badges!!!!]

It appears that it was below for 1969 and moved to above for 1970. I am not sure about 1971.
Interestingly, the 1970 sales catalog shows the W300 and others with the PW badge below- BUT the truck shows 1970 grill light positions correctly.

There was discussion about this once before. It may have been on a different site as I can't find it.ConnecticutYank wrote:Agreedpowerwagonpaul wrote:on my 69, the "power wagon" badge is below the "dodge 200" emblem

That's where the holes are for my missing PW badges.
Are they the same badges?
Re: 1970 W series Power Wagon badge location
The 1969 - 1971 Power Wagon badges, from the factory, should be the same.
My '68 had a larger, different "font" located on the hood and from '72 on was totally different.

I just bought a pair of badges from a '69 and will post a picture of them on my '70 when I get them.

On 69 Power Wagons the nameplate is below the tonnage badge. 70 and 71 they both are above the tonnage badge.there isn't any differences between 70 and 71 except grill insert colors. 70 they were Argent and 71 they were silver. Also Adventurer SE came out in 71

Well they 72s had Power Wagons had the emblems in the recess of the hood but as far as the big 4x4 models like a w500 or w600 they didn't come with power wagon emblems.ConnecticutYank wrote:Agreed- What did the 1972 post sweptline heavy truck Power wagons have? like the W500 and W600?JPAdventurer wrote:On 69 Power Wagons the nameplate is below the tonnage badge. 70 and 71 they both are above the tonnage badge.there isn't any differences between 70 and 71 except grill insert colors. 70 they were Argent and 71 they were silver.
