That is the difference between rare/scarce.

No matter how rare something is if no one wants it it isn't worth anything.

i remember when you brought this up years ago. it is shame that it has not surfaced. if this truck still exists and is in fact a verifiable HEMI i know a couple people who would gladly seed the current owner's retirement plan for that truck as well as pay a finders fee for anyone who connects them to the owner and a sale takes place.WD wrote:Ed, go to the Goodguys show in Puyallup the next time it comes around. There is a dark blue (can't remember the year) factory Hemi truck that shows up towing his color matched Hemi race cars. I posted about it years ago when I lived out there. Can't remember all the details these days. I do know he had the factory custom order papers for it still, a one of one. 426 Street Hemi instead of a wedge engine.
thanks Doug....as for being most sought after that is a matter of a majority opinion, and actual recent sales figures.digdoug wrote:AAA's Perkins powered PW300.

I will toss my truck in the ring for most rare Sweptline, as I have yet to find another factory Perkins powered W300 anywhere, then figure in the other rare stuff hanging on it.
I am grateful to have sold the truck, but managed to keep it. The buyer was Jesse James.....
Payupsucker Productions/Promotions seeks out unusual stuff. The sales price 5 years ago was $17,500.00
Those 413-426 HPP trucks have to be near the top of the list for most sought after. I dont believe mine could be considered that sought after because not many folks realize that one was ever built....Vintage Power Wagons did not even believe me when I told them what I had.......
