I was up in the mountains of Colorado this weekend doing some volunteer work at this old church I grew up near. Got talking to this old cat (in his 90's) about my 27 Dodge Brothers sedan. He mentions that he has a 1923 DB that he drove in the 20's. Still sitting on his families homestead at about 9000ft, sitting in the same spot since it retired from School Bus service in the mid 30s. No frickin joke, it was cool seeing this thing and knowing that its been with the same owner since it was new. I forgot to take pictures of the two functional 1940's Dodge firetrucks he had in the barn
Not that that wasn't truly awesome, I had a few chances to play with my new truck, and check out his other 1920's ish tractors and farm implements.
....and then head about 650 miles to pick up this little gem.
a successful, and somewhat pricey weekend, but 100% worth it
