I like this place

Post by yellowhornet »

This is nice place to come upon by accident. I thought would ask does any one know if there is any body else that reproduces dodge truck parts? If so what are they? I found one guy through eBay his name is James. I have bought some of is stuff like the mirrors, metal glove boxes, reverse bells and many other items. I was just wondering of their was someone else that had or was making anything that I could buy. Also how do you put pictures on I see that many of you have and I would like to learn how to do it. Thanks for the help.

Welcome, I like this place too. Yes there are a few vendors out there for us, depending upon what you're after. http://www.vintagepowerwagons.com is probably the most extensive. Some of the fellows here have quite a collection of used parts stashed too... So if you need something specific, feel free to post a question after trying the search feature located in the upper right hand corner of every page.

As far as pictures, we all want to see them. So head down to the forum help topics section, and there is a thread there that should explain it. If you still can't get it, PM me, and I'll see what I can do.

oh - this user account along with "KilmerBob" will be deleted so get your posts in early before they do.

Hmmm.... :thinking ... "Yellow-Bob-Kilmer-Hornet"? :thinking For a guy to criticize and talk this
particular web site down on other forums as much as you've done.... I'm quite intrigued why you'd
want to visit us here at all..... :thinking

Your continued efforts/attempts at deceiving this "audience" on this site has been noted on other
sites as well. You've dug quite a deep hole for yourself buddy..... :shame You may want to give
thought to your actions before your customer base erodes any :thinking further

As soon as I saw the mention of somebody named James I figured it was JIm or one of his friends. The location of Montana is close to the same area as JIm in WY.

He couldn't wait to plug 'ol "James", could he? Must be a heck of a guy, that "James".

What a turd. OK, "Hornet"-boy, tell "JIm" that you and "JIm"s other aliases (JIM, that means "fake names that one uses") are not welcome here. Nice try, toad.

Notice all of JIm's alleged "friends" have the same illiteracy problem that "JIm" has, JIm?

I still like this place. Especially since I can feel comfortable dealing with other members, since Ben does such a great job giving scammers their due. Thanks Ben!

I'll add to Dave's post.... as JIm [and all of his other "personalities"] obviously "lurks"
at this site.... [even though he's bashed it at every opportunity on other sites...]....
there is still the possibility that he'll contact folks, by e-mail, who are looking for parts.
Exercise caution in dealing with this individual. Dealing with him through an Ebay
transaction MAY provide you some recourse if you're unsatisfied with his parts &
service. Just a suggestion..... :2cents

HAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!! your right, they are the team who faught to keep jim around for the longest time. a team who let thier own personal fight against certain members cloud thier judgement on this jerk off. nothing against you personally ben, your statement just struck me as funny. glad to see the "team" is finally on top of this guy, even if it did cost valuable members to finally get there. :Thumbsup

i appreciate your feelings on this but i find your post disrespectful of the past efforts of each of the moderator's desire to give the other moderators an opportunity to voice an opinion on decisions.

obviously, that tact doesn't work when decisions need to be made quickly and efficiently. each of the remaining and active moderators now realize if something requires action to be taken quickly that if two or three of us gain a consensus we will act accordingly.

like i said on Norm's forum Jim's activities have left quite a wake on this forum and i have commited myself to making sure we act swiftly and with reason for future issues such as these.

we can continue to bring up past issues and rehash them if you like but personally i need to move forward and i am looking to the future with an eye on the past respective to the actions that Jim and others have done here. i plan on acting accordingly with reasoned approaches and a heavy hand when the need arises.

respectfully,
Ben
