Post by oneowner71 »

Hey guys, what's the best stuff out there for filling in the small dents and what not when doing body work. Is good ole bondo still up there, or is there some new plastic taking the world by storm??.. any thoughts / advice appreciated
Thanks, Clint

Clint,
depends on how deep the dent-never put more than 1/4 of anything, the resin is the most popular and believe it or not you can get it at Hi-Lo you mix it with a hardner that comes with it and a little dab will do you.

If that were only true.... the only dent that got put in the jeep is a little chip in the fiberglass back hatch maybe the size of a screw head... I could fill it with toothpaste at its size (just like nail holes in drywall.. LOL) ..bent the crap out of the dodge though... still haven't figured out exactly how that works. Super strong fiberglass, maybe.
Thanks, Clint

take the angle of impact, add the wieght of the vehicle times the inertial force exerted at the speed of impact, then divide the whole mess by the dew point reading at the time. and wha la, youll get your answer!
