maybe this subject has been covered but here goes!....... my wiper motor in my 64 is shot. after doing a quick search im finding no new replacements and old working motors being $500!?!?!?!?! WTF!!?? im wanting to know if anyone knows of another option? thanks for any input!

Could yours be rebuilt? An electric motor, be it wiper motor, starter motor, pump, blower, you name it, in the hands of the right person its all the same. There was a time when electric motors were expected to be rebuilt instead of replaced.

Is the $500 price for a salvage yard piece?

hey bucky, yes that is used prices. NOS is what the listing claimed but looked pretty used to me. good call on the rebuild, ill dig into that. thanks for the reply! brian

I am not up on what all wiper motors interchange with your 64. Probably other years will interchange & possibly some car ones too.
