Tire Question for my Dodge truck

While my truck isn't a sweptline, it is a Dodge Ram (not a Ram!)
I am considering replacement tires for my 1997 Dodge Ram.
I currently have Goodyear Fortera tires on it and between
this set of tires and the last Goodyear tires I had they are
not something I would buy again. The last new tires I bought
were for a minivan and were made by Cooper here in Indiana,
and I am considering purchasing 4) 225 75R16 Evolution tires
and keeping the best of the 4 and using it for a spare.
TheseGoodyear tires are 4 years old and the spare's age and condition
is unknown. I will have it lowered when I get my oil changed in
the next week or two to determine its age and condition. Since
having two hip replacements I won't be doing any more work on
vehicles, but have my stuff done by a mom and pop place that
allows you to observe work done on your vehicle and to look
underneath it to check things out while it is on the hoist. These
people replaced all the brake lines on this truck with the new
flexible brake lines that have something added to make them
last longer.
I bought the truck from my brother who when he turned the
truck over to me gave me a file folder with everything that he
had done to the truck from July of 2000 when he bought it with
less than 20,000 miles on it, until March 8, of 2016 when he sold
it to me. When those tires were new it had new ball joints and all new
shocks put on it and was aligned. That file is pretty thick and
contains everything he had done or put on the truck in 15 1/2 years.
Have any of you here used Cooper tires on your trucks, and if so
did you like them. The tires I want will have a good ride and will
handle well. Since I won't be hauling anything heavy or going off
road, or towing anything I won't need a heavy duty tire at all.
Thanks in advance for your feedback! I appreciate it!
