Title help on a w200 crew cab/ airforce fire dept.
W200 crew cab 225 utiline truck. Sanded through the drivers door and found the vol. fire dept. of blue jacket OK. then usa air force. Any suggestions on proper titling would be appreciated. my buddy gave me a w200 62 title that's clean and I just cant do it, the truck deserves better and I would feel bad cause I know this truck is not hot and the 62 isn't either just not right. Im guessing it went thru forestry prior to fire dept. Im in Mo.

Man that's a tough one. Did you buy it at auction with no title? I would just go to the DMV or a title place and get a bonded title on it. Not sure how it works in Missouri, but that's how I've done a few vehicles here in AZ. It will probably cost you a few hundred bucks, but at least it would be a legit title for that truck..

In CA, old, low value vehicles simply require a statement of fact DMV form that says u own it and the title is lost, signed under penalty of perjury. Then they issue a new title in your name. If someone later shows up with the original title and can prove it was stolen, then you're SOL. Real simple and real cheap.
