Steering wheel swap

Post by Daveyboy »

Ive got a 71 d100 with the original 3 spoke wheel on it now but kind of like the look of the earlier white 2 spoke wheel with the horn ring do these interchange? Also does anyone know if there is a possibility of it interchanging with any of the dodge car steering wheels just curious.

Not sure if they swap but this is my steering wheel on my '66, if thats the one you're looking for I imagine they would be similar.

Well, the horn ring is the same as a 66 Car (or so - need to verify)

I believe the bell on the top of the column maybe different 61-68 vs 69-71. It may still work???

I had heard of guys swapping the steering wheel with the larger 18" or 20" I can't remember D500 wheels and such but just hadn't heard about there being earlier 61-68 wheels being different then the 69-71's also any input about the larger truck wheels fitting would be great if anyone has done that swap as well
