Resto shop - NW Montana and moving outward
It's been awhile since I've posted on the forums here. A couple of years ago I thought we'd be moving to Montana so I hauled our '67 D200 "Camper Special" to NW Montana. As fate would have it, we became stuck in Maryland. The project was pushed to the back burner as we moved and navigated some family medical issues. I've tried unsuccessfully to find a shop in the northwest to work on the old truck. What I'm looking for is a shop that can take care of the body work and make the truck "road worthy" to drive back east. I had hoped to push a few dollars back into my hometown, but apparently no one wants to take American money... or maybe the old Dodge just isn't as exciting as a muscle car. The truck is just sitting on a family property. If I can't find anyone to work on the old girl, it may just sit there until I can retire to Big Sky country. If any of you all have any leads on an honest shop that can work on a Sweptline, please feel free to post or PM me. Thanks and I'll look forward to visiting the forums now and again, just to see how things are going.

That is such a shame considering Ken Exline is out I-70, right accross the MD/PA line.
If I had the $, I'd drop my crew off to him and let it rip.
It might be worth a phone call to see how much it would be have the truck shipped to him.

Hey there,
My name is Ian, I currently live in Helena Montana. However, my mechanic, a good old boy, is from that area (NW MT) and may know someone who is able to get it road worthy. If nothing else I bet he could find someone willing to trailer it down to his shop here so he could get it ready for the trip. If you want some local help, feel free to ask.
Just let me know where it is in NW MT
Hope this helps,
Ian.
BTW this is my first posting on this forum. I'm actually looking for help for my 1970 W200.
