twin stick transfer case

Post by bigk »

i have never had a twin stick transfer case before. i would like to clean up the floor alittle. could i put the case in high and take off the handle and just use the engage disengage handle? then i would only have the one stick poking out of the floor. or is this not the thing to do?

It seems like it would work,if you don't plan on getting yourself into any tight spots. I assume you are not running a pto winch.

If you would like to keep the twin sticks. You could get a twin stick kit for a np203 or 205 can't remember which one right off. And I can't find my books. It will take some fab work but it will put your twin sticks inline with your tanny shifter. You can also order a shifter boot to seal out the noise. I have looked into this option just haven't gotten far enough in my build.
