Restore Engine Restorer

Post by OleRed66 »

Restore Engine Restore is supposed to fix compression problems with your engine.

So I've been hearing things and reading things and now I want some fellow sweptliners opinions. I don't wish to use this product in my sweptline, but perhaps my Grand Cherokee. Anyway I wanted to know if you guys knew anything about it. Let me know.

Thanks

I have used it several times in my 69W200. it seems to help with an increase in power. I use it about once a year. Ozzie.

I used it in a '88 gmc that I sold to my cousin in Seattle. You could kill mosquitos with it. I changed the oil in it and let it run for 2 hours and it almost stoped smoking. It would smoke a little on start up but then stop after a bit. Hell, I even used it to tow a '65 300 25 miles with no smoking at all before he came down to get it. Now when I go up for a visit it doesn't even smoke on start up. Oh, by the way, that truck has 242,000 miles on it. I also use it in my daily driver at every oil change and have noticed a difference and the Shadow has 164,000 miles on it and I'll take it anywere. And when I do get the Sweptys on the road I will use it in them too.

We tried it a couple of times in my daughters Dodge Colt and I think it was beyond help with her playing ricky road racer in it.

thanks guys, this actually helps. My Grand Cherokee has 177K on it and I'd like to keep it for a while. I can't tell that it burns any oil, but I thought, why not try it and see if we can't get a little better mileage out of it. I like seeing all the Navy guys here. I'm a civilian employee of the Navy, so I work hard so y'all can. Thanks :usa

I used it on a 94 dodge dakota I had that had 250,000 miles on it and it worked wonders. I just used it in my boat this weekend and got a few more mph than usual out of it. :Thumbsup s#$% sounds pretty good to me

I've alway's used WIX filters on the RIGS & the FARM. Never used the restore, (going to now, 318's soundin' rough :banghead )a while back there was a wonder lube addvertised on TV that's name started with a D (duramax, duralube?) I used this stuff in a 82 cadilac desiel and got 5 mpg better fuel mileage. Went form 30 to 35 mpg
