It says "Side Market Lights" on page 2, which I believe is a typo and should be "Side Marker Lights". There are no other side lights or reflectors present on a 68 D100, so what lights do you think they are referring to? Nowhere did I state "standard", I said available.swptln wrote:
Not beat a dead horse into the ground, but there is nothing referring to reflectors. If you believe lights are reflectors and optional equipment was standard, then yes you are 100% correct.

Re: Stock Reflectors
Ok, if had you read the bulletin from start to finish, you will see that Part "A" of D100 and D200 "bulletin for optional equipment". Identification clearance and Side marker lights are optional equipment. No where in the bulletin did I see any reference to a reflector, it's referring to lights. Although, Part "B" of the bulletin contradicts itself, where is states deletion of side marker light since they are now standard.soopernaut wrote:It says "Side Market Lights" on page 2, which I believe is a typo and should be "Side Marker Lights". As we all know 68's and 69's didn't come with side marker b]lights[/b] as standard equipment, that didn't happen until 70.
I don't know for sure on pre-68 trucks, but I do know all 68's and 69's are factory wired for optional side marker lights.

Re: Stock Reflectors
Same story here for a '68 D100 I had except I bought it from the granddaughter and her husband. Turns out I knew the gentleman also just had never seen the rig since he drove it so rarely. Had 31,700 miles when I got it and I am pretty sure he probably didn't install the reflectors.383d100 wrote:My 68 d100 adventure was 100% stock with 54k original miles and has the reflectors bought the truck from a 90 year old man who bought it new

What makes you think I didn't read the whole thing?swptln wrote: Ok, if had you read the bulletin from start to finish,

No where in this thread did I state that reflectors were standard equipment on any truck at any time.
One can assume that since this item is standard, per the bulletin, that all D100/D200 trucks on or after the date of the bulletin have this equipment. What do you see on the side of all D100/D200 trucks built on or after this date? REFLECTORS There are no lights unless it is a D200 Camper Special. I don't know why they refer to them as lights.swptln wrote: No where in the bulletin did I see any reference to a reflector, it's referring to lights.
