Late Model Wheels
Has anybody had any luck fitting late model car aluminum wheels on a swepty? There are lots of them that have a 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern, but the ones I've tried wouldnt work because the center hole was too small. The ones I tried came off of a ford Ranger. Jeep has some pretty good looking wheels.

Re: Late Model Wheels
I've personally seen these on a sweptline from a Ranger or Explorer.

Re: Late Model Wheels
Late model wheels have too far of an offset inboard to mess with. You'd have to use wheel spacers.

Re: Late Model Wheels
Use adapters. That will allow you to change the 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern to the newer 5 on 5.5" bolt pattern while making up for 1.25" worth of offset. Can't get much simpler than that.66patrick wrote:Late model wheels have too far of an offset inboard to mess with. You'd have to use wheel spacers.

Post up a pic once you get them on. I am sure they will fit nicely.

Weeeellll, back to the drawing board.. I checked Summit Racing for wheel adapters, and they start at $96 a pair. For $200 I can buy 4 brand new wheels.

Re: Late Model Wheels
hey guys, I scored a used set of weld drag lites, or maybe a knock of brand copy of them, because I don't see any brand name on them anywhere. But anyway, that's fine too. So, anyway, my question is: What size tires?? the wheels are 15"'s and they are 6"wide for front and 8" for the rear. My truck sits pretty low in front as is, but I will be putting an independent suspension in it (mustakeII)
Pics anybody?
