I have two side marker light lenses for the '70-'71 Dodge truck, same dimensions but one has mounting holes and the other does not. So my questions are:
1. Is the one without mounting holes for export trucks?
2. Is the one without mounting holes an early production piece for the '70 truck and later changed to have mounting holes for '70-'71 trucks?
3. Does the one without mounting holes fit the '78-'79 LRE truck?

LC from PA the lens without holes are Early 70, lens that pushed in had small tabs on each end that broke off after being pulled out a few times to replace bulb the lens with holes fit but you need the longer mounting screws also the bases were changed some what were used till end of D-series was changed to body style of the later 70,s LC

Re: Confused
Im going tru the same deal. What you want to do is get the 71 marker light housing they have the bulb holder that twists off from the back.No need to fool around with the screws once mounted. The lenz get so brittle they end up breaking.
