Hi all, Can anyone take a good clear picture of how the e-brake handle mounts inside the cab. I took it off a long time ago and can't figure out how it mounts. I feel like I am missing a bracket or something.

The handle mechanism does mount on a bracket that bolt to the cab.

Hope this helps.

How about the brackets under the truck and there mounting points. My '63 had a drum brake on the trans but now I'm installing a later '65 rear axle and will be adding those cables. I have the 2 brackets but where are they mounted.

There's one small amgled bracket with an opened hole that bolts to the frame amid the crossmember under the bell. The photo is of the bracket upside down because I was building the pillow bearing bracket underneath it.

The rear bracket again attaches to two holes near the rear crossmember. As far as I'm concerned, this arrangement works OK for the D trucks, but for W trucks with a lift it puts wicked moment forces on the clip that holds the cable to the drum.
